Kia ora anō knitters! As you’ve no doubt noticed, it’s getting cold out there! The autumnal chill is well and truly upon us, and this month’s ‘No Place Like Home’ has been an instant relief.

We’ve teamed up with the wonderful Tinui based Rewa Rewa Station to bring you a plush Romney DK from their very own flock, in the brightest yellow we could imagine. This wool sings of bright autumn mornings, the first of the frosts, and a snuggly pumpkin soup.

We’ve explored a lot of techniques in our sock journey now, and thought it a great opportunity to introduce spit splicing (though we tend to use water). We’ve bundled you up with a 100g skein, and an extra 25g mini. The worsted spun non-superwash yarn takes to joining perfectly, and you may find you need the extra length to get the most out of our recommended pattern this month.

Summer Lee’s Clog Sock pattern is such a joy to knit with this big cosy yarn. It is ornate, cozy, and most importantly in this weather, quick to knit! We’re so enamoured with these socks, that we’re also releasing a Prosper Yarn Kit, using a range of Prosper DK yarns.

We hope you’ll love these treat socks as much as we do! And we’ll see you in May for the last entry in this club… for now x
