Learn to weave with Prosper Yarn and the wonderful Anne Stubbings.

Anne has fine-tuned this experience with beginners in mind. She will help you set up a rigid heddle loom and take you through the steps to create a beautiful scarf in your chosen Prosper Yarn Merino 8ply colour duo. You will also learn finishing techniques to add the final touches to your beautiful scarf. Anne has taught weaving for years, and her workshops are always popular.

DETAILS
The class is split over two days, Saturday & Sunday, 14 & 15 March 2026 9am-1pm.
We hold the workshop in our yarn studio at 54 Ponsonby Road.
Cost is $280.00 (for 8 hours of tuition and beautiful hand dyed yarn!), payable directly to Anne.
Class size is limited to 6 students.
We have a selection of excellent teas, low-sugar cold drinks and juices, and hot chocolate available to purchase. Feel free to bring your own snacks or coffee.
YARN INFO
We will be using Prosper Yarn DK (100% merino). Choose froom the six colour duos listed below - or create your own duo! Just let Anne know which two colours you prefer and we dye it for you. Alternatively, you may come into the studio and choose your own up to a week before the class.
