We are now one third of the way through our Sock Club devoted to exploring and celebrating locally made yarns. It’s been a blast so far, here’s what we have been up too..

June started with a very decadent Merino Possum Nylon woollen spun sock yarn! So soft and light, this yarn was made for gentle texture. Like a sweater for your toes.

July we tried our first Nylon Free sock blend. A non super wash treated Merino with a tight twist to add the strength and longevity needed for socks. But still oh so soft.

August was a classic sock blend, machine washable Merino and Nylon, worsted spun with four plies. This will last and last.

September was very unique, a non super wash blend made up of Corriedale, Mohair and Llama.

October saw us return to a Merino base, but this time with Lincoln strong wool to add durability without plastic.

November’s dispatch is getting near.. what will it bring ?!
