Sweetie Vest Kit
Description
The Sweetie Vest is a great beginner pattern for those wanting to give garment knitting a go, without having to tackle sleeves.
"Designed to feel like a gentle pat on the shoulder, the Sweetie Vest is a versatile layering piece that will brighten your look on a crisp winter day or a cooler summer evening, adding a touch of whimsy with an adorable front bow." - Marusique Stories.
Make your own with Prosper Yarn's kit that includes everything you need:
- super-soft, hand-dyed 70/30 Kid Mohair/Silk yarn
- a paper pattern & an emailed PDF
- stitch markers/tapestry needle
- the option to add a 5mm & 10mm needle pack (we supply 80cm ChiaoGoo or like quality depending on stock levels)
This vest is knit flat from the bottom up, then divided into a back and two front panels,
which are worked separately. The shoulders are grafted together, and two I-cord ties are
added at the end.
You will hold three strands of yarn together to achieve the gauge. This gives you the opportunity to play with colour.

No Yarn Chicken
Buy an extra skein for those 'just in case' moments. If you don't end up needing it, let us know and you can exchange it. This means you'll never lose at yarn chicken again!
Photography
We photograph our yarns in natural light, outside; however, each screen shows colours slightly differently. We use a professional Canon digital camera, and sometimes use an iPhone Pro. Please expect because this is an art, colours may vary from their photos.
