Sweet As
Elevate your sock knitting, make extraordinary sweaters, blankets, shawls or hats with Sweet As, a 60/20/20 Merino, Superfine Alpaca, Nylon blend. Incredibly soft, dyes beautifully, and has amazing durability - destined to be your favourite go to yarn.
Gauge is 24 to 36 stitches/10cm on 2.25mm to 3.75mm needles
Sweet As comes in two size options, 100g and 20g mini skeins. The 20g mini skeins are dyed in different batches to the 100g skeins. Gentle machine wash, dry flat, snuggle.

We try our best to make our photos as accurate as possible but every screen displays colour slightly differently, so we cannot guarantee complete accuracy. Hand-dyed yarns vary from one skein to the next so there will always be some variation between the photo and each individual skein.
We highly recommend getting enough yarn for your project. To encourage this, you can exchange extra skeins if they are in their original condition, thus ensuring your project will have consistency. We dye in small, project sized batches, and don’t have dye lots.
Part of the hand dyed allure is each skein's individuality, even within a batch dyed at the same time. This gives final objects depth and nuance.
With this in mind we recommend alternating skeins (every other row in flat knitting and every row in circular knitting) on larger projects creating a more cohesive blend.

Soft yarn with excellent stitch definition. It does split easily, so a little bit of care is needed. The other unexpected (might have missed this detail in the description though) is that it has fibers that stick out. I’ve just washed and blocked the baby blanket I used the yarn for and they’re still there.
Still soft and the colours (I used fairy bread and the new Navy colour) look amazing.
While visiting New Zealand, I wanted to visit some local yarn stores. On my last day, Tara was kind enough to let me come early to shop due to my flight times. The yarn she dyes is SO beautiful. I look forward to making the sweater using the Keen yarn.
Sweet As is definitely the softest and most luxurious sock yarn I ever worked with. It's just a dream! It blocks beautifully and I can't wait to wear my new socks when the weather cools down a bit!
