No Frills Sweater Kit
Make this classic yours with hand dyed natural fibre yarns.
This kit includes everything you need to make this timeless sweater:
- New Zealand dyed 100% Merino & Mohair/Silk yarn (Beaut & Mint held together)
- a paper pattern
- stitch markers/tapestry needle
- a fun fabric label
- the option to add 3mm & 4mm needles (we supply 80cm Hiya Hiya or ChiaoGoo depending on stock levels)
The No Frills Sweater is an elegant raglan sweater with neckline shaping at the front. This shaping, while doing raglan increases, puts this make in the intermediate skill level. We say go for it to adventurous beginners as well - develop those skills! We are always here to help.
The fit is slightly oversized, but the wide rib edges and the shorter length give the sweater a feminine silhouette. The No Frills Sweater is worked from the top down, which makes it easy to try it on along the way, so you can customize it to fit your body and end up with the perfect sleeve and body length for you.

We try our best to make our photos as accurate as possible but every screen displays colour slightly differently, so we cannot guarantee complete accuracy. Hand-dyed yarns vary from one batch to the next so there will always be some variation between the photo and each individual skein.
Part of the hand dyed allure is each skein's individuality. This gives final objects depth and nuance. With this in mind we recommend alternating skeins (every other row in flat knitting and every row in circular knitting) on larger projects creating a more cohesive blend.
