Beaut Merino Singles
The Beaut base is an incredibly soft Merino Wool Single (single ply construction) in a Fingering/4 ply weight. This yarn is next to skin soft, and has a beautiful bloom - you can see the squish. It glides through the hand, doesn't split, and makes exceptionally warm and soft hats, mittens, cowls, shawls, and even sweaters (a tight twist gives it good wearability). The drape is outstanding for a 100% wool yarn.

Part of the hand dyed allure is each skein's individuality. This gives final objects depth and nuance. With this in mind we recommend alternating skeins (every other row in flat knitting and every row in circular knitting) on larger projects creating a more cohesive blend.

Ent is the perfect dark green, exactly what I was looking for - I’m using it for weaving and I was also really stoked to find some super chunky NZ made yarn (bossy lambs wool) in some gorgeous colours. I appreciate the mini skeins too as I can pick and mix different colours without committing to a large amount of yarn

There is nothing I don’t love about this Beaut! Soft, silky and single(-ply) ;)
This has got to be the best of all sides when it comes to a yarn; 4/5 ply so loads of pattern choices, a dream to knit with, so lovely to hold plus the most amazing squish factor especially after blocking. My first time using a single ply and I think I'm a total convert! Not to mention the amazing colours. The perfect treat skein for special items — I will be buying more!
