60/20/20 Merino/Silk/Yak Legend, a 4ply (fingering weight) yarn is an outstanding blend the very best fibres. Merino lends its softness and bounce, yak adds warmth, depth of colour, and is as soft as cashmere, silk provides strength, sheen and drape. Part of the hand dyed allure is each skein's individuality. This gives final objects depth and nuance. With this in mind we recommend alternating skeins (every other row in flat knitting and every row in circular knitting) on larger projects creating a more cohesive blend.
