This is a listing for a Sweet As mini skein set to knit the precious Grandmother Gnome named Gnana.   The knit-a-long takes place over 21 days, with updates from 1 Dec to 21 Dec. Some of those days you’ll open the update to find instructions to knit. The other days will bring part of our charming story, special treats, or a recipe or two for traditional gnomish delights.

The pattern requires 4 mini skeins, but we've included some cuddly soft mohair to use for Gnana's hair or beard (if she has one) - but feel free to hold it double with any of the skeins. Pattern sold separately here.

Knit & purl, working in the round and flat, i-cord, short rows, slipping stitches, grafting, kfb, M1L, M1R, k2tog

We try our best to make our photos as accurate as possible but every screen displays colour slightly differently, so we cannot guarantee complete accuracy.  Hand-dyed yarns vary from one batch to the next so there will always be some variation between the photo and each individual skein. 

Part of the hand dyed allure is each skein's individuality. This gives final objects depth and nuance. With this in mind we recommend alternating skeins (every other row in flat knitting and every row in circular knitting) on larger projects creating a more cohesive blend.
