Terra Shawl Kit
I love the Terra Shawl by Joji Locatelli so much; it’s quick to make, and you can adjust how small/big you want it to be. This shawl is worked from the centre top down. Stitches are increased at each side on every other row to give it its characteristic crescent shape. This kit is suitable for the adventurous beginner to seasoned makers.
This kit contains everything you need: a printed and emailed PDF pattern, 2 skeins of Bach DK Merino Linen yarn, a tapestry needle, stitch markers, and the option to add needles.
Approx. 75¼ inches (188 cm) from side to side and 16¾ inches (42 cm) from top to bottom at deepest point (after blocking).
Needles: US 8 (5 mm) needles.
Other notions: Tapestry needle, stitch markers, a split ring st marker, blocking pins or wires.
We try our best to make our photos as accurate as possible but every screen displays colour slightly differently, so we cannot guarantee complete accuracy. Hand-dyed yarns vary from one batch to the next so there will always be some variation between the photo and each individual skein.
Part of the hand dyed allure is each skein's individuality. This gives final objects depth and nuance. With this in mind we recommend alternating skeins (every other row in flat knitting and every row in circular knitting) on larger projects creating a more cohesive blend.
